Official: Meeting of the UAF National Teams Committee held
Today, August 5, a UAF National Teams Committee meeting, chaired by Andriy Shevchenko, took place at the House of Football.
During the meeting, the reports of the coaching staff of the national teams were heard.
"Serhiy Rebrov and his coaching staff and his concept of developing the national teams received full support. We know where we are heading and why we do what we do. We have received enough information and are concluding.
As for the immediate tasks for the national team, we are starting a new two-year qualifying cycle. Its main goal is to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. Therefore, our goal in the Nations League is to perform in such a way that, if necessary, we have an additional chance to qualify for the World Cup.
Another important decision made at the committee meeting was the issue of reforming the UAF scouting and analytics department," said Andriy Shevchenko after the meeting of the National Teams Committee.
