Main Round Play-offs
Matches: April 10-19, 2023.
Eight teams were paired off into four matches, to be played home and away. Winners advance to the Elite Round.
Elite Round
Draw: July 5, 2023.
Matches: to be completed by December 20, 2023.
20 teams will be divided into five groups of four teams each, to be played home and away. Five group winners qualify for the World Cup 2024. The four best runners-up qualify for the Elite Round play-offs. If the European association is chosen to host the final tournament, only the two best runners-up will advance to the Elite Round play-offs.
Elite Round Play-offs
Draw: January 25, 2024.
Matches: April 8-17, 2024.
