Nations League 2024/25 playoffs. Belgium confirms venue for home match against Ukraine

The Royal Belgian Football Association has confirmed the venue for the second match of the UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 playoffs against Ukraine, with a spot in League A at stake.

According to the official website of the RBFA, the second leg of the Nations League playoff between Belgium and Ukraine will take place on March 23 in the city of Genk at the Cegeka Arena, home of the Genk football club.

The stadium, built in 1999, has a capacity of 25,000 spectators, including 4,200 standing spots. The Belgian national team has played two matches at Cegeka Arena: on February 11, 2009, they won a friendly match against Slovenia (2:0), and on March 28 of the same year, they lost 2:4 to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a World Cup qualifier.

It is worth noting that the first match between Ukraine and Belgium for promotion to League A of the Nations League will be held on March 20 in Murcia, Spain, at the Enrique Roca de Murcia Stadium.
