Khmelnytsky became the next stop on the map of Talenticos — an initiative by the Ukrainian Football Association to support the UAF Foundation, which combines football, education, and modern approaches to nurturing young players. The event gathered adults who play a crucial role in developing young footballers.

A child's success in football is not born solely on the training field. It is shaped by their entire environment: home atmosphere, coaching approach, and process organization. When each of these elements works in harmony, a child has room to grow. This was the topic of the seminar.

Seminar Topics

The program covered two blocks:

• "Parents — Partners in Development." Participants discussed how family influences a child's sports path: from daily support to reactions to setbacks. A parent’s role is not just to observe from the stands but to be a full partner with the coach in nurturing young footballers.
• "Managers — Foundation of the Environment for Child Development." This referred to how quality organization is an invisible but critical component of children's football. Managers build conditions in which coaches, parents, and children can interact effectively.

In addition to lectures, the seminar was a networking opportunity: participants exchanged experiences, established new contacts, and found like-minded individuals who also care about quality children's football.

Seminar + Festival = Talenticos

The educational meeting was the first half of a two-day event. The second day is taken over by children: they are in for a football festival filled with games and emotions.

The combination of these two days embodies the project's philosophy. The knowledge adults gain at the seminar is immediately put into practice during the festival: in support from the stands, in coach-player interactions, and in the overall festive atmosphere. Thus, theory turns into practice literally within a day.

A child wins when adults around them act as one team. And the more entities join Talenticos, the more young footballers will grow in an environment where they are heard, supported, and understood.
