"Open Football Festivals" in Poltav Oblast

In the Hradyska community, "Open Football Festivals" took place as part of a nationwide project by the Ukrainian Association of Football.

"Open Football Festivals" in Poltav Oblast

The event brought together participants from the communities of Gradyska, Globynska, Kozelshchyna, and Kremenchuk in Poltava region around sports, friendship, and team spirit.

The festivals provided a wonderful opportunity for children to engage in football activities, showcase their skills, learn how to interact as part of a team, and gain new positive emotions.

The main goal of such events is the popularization of mass football, engaging children in an active lifestyle, and creating a friendly environment where everyone feels joy from playing.

"Open Football Festivals" are not only sports activities but also an opportunity to foster cooperation between communities, unite children and adults, and develop love for football.

We remind you that the project is being implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association within the framework of the donor program "Restoration and Resilience under Youth Leadership in Ukraine" with the support of the Cross-Cultural Projects Association and organization CISU (Civil Society in Development) from Denmark.

The Ukrainian Football Association project "Open Football Festivals" is:

— youth leadership and development of volunteering in communities;

— psychosocial support for children of Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen, children of internally displaced persons, and children affected by the war;

— an inclusive environment where everyone participates regardless of abilities and gender, including children with special educational needs;

— knowledge of safety in wartime;

— the philosophy of mass football — joy from playing instead of results at any cost;

— the first football experience for children.
