The training session took place from July 21 to 24, 2026, at the Kyiv hotel "Rus" and on the fields of NTK named after V. Bannikov, based on materials provided by the UEFA Arbitration Committee under the direct supervision of committee head Kateryna Monzul and the UEFA arbitration system coordinator Nicola Rizzoli.

During the session, top-category referees successfully completed theoretical and physical tests, thoroughly analyzed matches from the previous season, and reviewed key aspects of applying changes and amendments to the Laws of the Game.

Special attention was given to unifying interpretations of game situations, ensuring uniform approaches to decision-making, and defining primary directions for referees' work in the 2026/2027 season. Based on the training outcomes, participants received methodological recommendations and guidelines for working on matches in the new championship.
