Students from the Oleksansky, Delyvsky, and Pyrivsky lyceums as well as Budzynska, Zhivachyvska, and Pidverchytsya gymnasiums participated — a total of 72 children.

The participants were offered a program at six locations: football games, relay races, exercises to develop various physical abilities. There were also booths for psychologists and safety officers.

The event participants received diplomas from the UAF and branded T-shirts, and expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the UAF for the opportunity to hold the festival.

The project "Open Football Festival" by the Ukrainian Association of Football is:

  • youth leadership in communities;
  • psychosocial support for children of Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen, IDPs, and war victims;
  • unity and friendship between IDP children and local children, social integration;
  • an inclusive environment in which everyone participates regardless of abilities or gender, including children with special educational needs;
  • knowledge about safety during wartime;
  • the philosophy of mass football — joy from the game rather than results at any cost;
  • cultivation of a healthy lifestyle;
  • volunteer development in communities.
