National project "Shoulder to Shoulder: Solidarity Communities", initiated by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, brings together communities from all over the country — to support those who live near the front line.

In Kyiv, the project team organizes a series of visits for children from frontline regions — to give them new impressions, knowledge and a sense of unity.

This time, children from Kramatorsk community in Donetsk region and Pervomaisk community in Mykolaiv oblast visited the capital. Together they visited the Ukrainian Football Association, where they learned about the history and great victories of Ukrainian football. A tour was conducted through museum locations for the children, who also visited a football field, and during an interactive quiz each one had a chance to shine. The most active received prizes — t-shirts, sweaters, books with autographs from UAF President Andriy Shevchenko and others.

But the most valuable were not the prizes, but the feelings of inspiration, togetherness and belief in their own strength. Because every child, regardless of where they live, has a right to childhood, dreams and peace.

The initiative is implemented within the framework of the national project "Shoulder to Shoulder: Solidarity Communities" in partnership with PJSC "Ukrzaliznyzha" and with the support of community partners and volunteer organizations.

Together we create opportunities where faith in tomorrow is born.
