Tuesday, April 5 in the English city of Burton upon Trent, Ukraine's WU-19 women's national team will play a match in the second qualifying round for the 2025 European Championship. The opponents of the blue and yellow team will be Belgium (match start - 8:30 PM Kyiv time).

We remind you that in their group during the first round's Liz V, Ukraine's women's youth national team secured first place and advanced to the A League.

The day before our girls conducted a training camp in Lviv, where they played two friendlies. After that, our team traveled to Group A3 of the second qualifying round for Euro-2025 (WU-19), which is taking place in Burton upon Trent, England at St. George's Park.

On April 2, the Ukrainians were supposed to play against Austria, but the match did not take place. The reason - our team did not receive British visas in time despite completing all necessary procedures within the set deadlines and submitting documents on March 12. Therefore, in the first game of the mini-tournament, blue and yellow received a technical loss with a score of 0:3. Today, April 5, our girls will play against Belgium's peers.

In the second qualifying round, seven teams will be determined to join Poland at the final stage of the European Championship for women under 19 years old, as well as teams that will move from one league to another. Poland, despite automatic qualification to the finals, will participate in the qualifiers. The seeding for the draw of the second round was based on the positions the teams held in the first round.

In League A, 28 teams will compete in seven groups, including seven teams that advanced from League B after the results of the first round. The winners of each group in League A (and the best runner-up if Poland finishes first in their group) in the second round will earn spots at the finals. Teams finishing fourth in their groups will start the 2025/2026 season in League B.

Twenty-three teams in League B, including those that dropped out after the autumn stage from League A, compete in six groups for promotion to League A in the next round of qualifiers.

Mini-tournaments of the second qualifying round will conclude by April 8, 2025, while the final phase is scheduled for June 15-27.
