Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on February 13, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country. 

Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred twentieth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses terrorism tactics, carries out missile and air strikes, and shells both military and numerous civilian objects in our country with multiple rocket launchers.

During the past day, 84 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out 5 missile and 113 air strikes, conducted 135 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among civilians. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 23 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Air defense forces and means destroyed 16 attack UAVs.

Air strikes were carried out on: Vyimka, Klyshchyivka, New York, Oleksandriopil, Avdiyivka, Lastochkine, Novokalynove, Kostiantynivka, Novomykhailivka, Paraskeviivka, Stary Mayoriske of Donetsk Oblast; Novodarivka, Hulyaypole, Robotyne of Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Krupitsya, Krynytsi, Berislav of Kherson Oblast.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On Severnyi and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from moving to threatening directions, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled 2 enemy attacks near Sinkyvka and Tabayivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

On Lyman direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 enemy attacks near Terny and north of Veselo, Donetsk Oblast.

On Bakhmut direction, defensive forces repelled 7 attacks by occupiers near the populated areas of Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Andriyivka, and Klyshchyivka, Donetsk Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on Avdiyivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiyivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on aggressors. Thus, during the past day, defensive forces repelled 22 attacks by the enemy in the vicinity of Avdiyivka and another 7 attacks near Tonynkoye and Nevelskye, Donetsk Oblast.

On Mariupol direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiyevka, Pobedy, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast, where 35 attacks were repelled.

On Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled an attack by the enemy south of Prichystyvka, Donetsk Oblast.

On Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an attack by the enemy west of Novopokrovka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on Kherson direction, defensive forces continue to hold positions and repel assaults by occupying troops. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to dislodge our units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out 2 unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, our soldiers continue active actions inflicting casualties and equipment losses on occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the past day, aviation of defensive forces carried out strikes against 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy. Air defense forces and means of Ukraine destroyed 7 reconnaissance UAVs.

Subunits of rocket troops delivered blows to 7 areas of concentration of personnel, 1 artillery unit, and 1 air defense system of the enemy.
