President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about fruitful meetings in Vilnius with many NATO partners and the necessity to extend the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

A brief report for today.

First. Meeting with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Malukh. Meetings with intelligence leaders: SBU - Budanov, foreign intelligence - Lytvinenko. We are carefully analyzing the situation – everything related to the war and everything important for internal security.

Second. Meeting with internationalists. Government, Office. We have already started preparing for the next NATO summit in Washington. At this summit in Vilnius, we received good agreements for Ukraine from practically all partners. A very good meeting was held with President Biden and his team: Secretary of Defense Austin, National Security Advisor Sullivan.

With everyone in the "Big Seven," we managed to meet with many NATO partners as well. Now it's time to turn each such agreement into a concrete result. We have the Ukraine-NATO Council, and this format needs to work effectively. We are preparing proposals for our partners. There are new agreements regarding weapons, technology, aviation, and now we are detailing them. Today we also discussed the preparation of the Crimean platform.

We continue working on bilateral agreements with countries along the path of NATO membership to ensure security guarantees for Ukraine. Just one day after Vilnius, six more countries have joined the seven largest democracies that agreed to provide us with security guarantees yesterday. These are the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Sweden. Thank you! I am confident: support around these guarantees will grow. Ukraine and the United States will lead a list of states joining our joint declaration with the "Big Seven" on security guarantees along the path to NATO.

During the time until the Washington summit, we need to work together with partners to process everything discussed in Vilnius and form new common positions that Ukraine and our soldiers deserve unequivocally.

Today I spoke with President of South Africa Ramaphosa. We never lose sight of the Peace Formula and all that is needed to implement it. I invited Mr. President to join our humanitarian initiative "Grain from Ukraine."

We see equally necessary the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. It is very important that there be no threats to food security anywhere in the world. And Russia must clearly understand that anyone who increases the threat of famine, especially in critical African regions, terrorizes the entire world with hunger, not just one person.

Recently, a meeting took place in Copenhagen involving representatives of presidents and foreign ministers and national security advisors from various countries. The meeting was dedicated to the Peace Formula and preparation for the Global Peace Summit. I am grateful that there was a representative from South Africa at the meeting. We are already preparing for the next such meeting.

And, of course, I want to thank every one of our soldiers, all Ukrainian defenders. These days in Vilnius, at the NATO summit and on the sidelines of the summit, Ukraine has received and continues to receive the greatest respect and support from partners throughout its independence years. Respect is always a derivative of courage, and attention to any country is always a result of that country's available opportunities. Ukraine – is at the center of partner attention. No longer Russia, as it was decades ago. And when we put an end to this war with the fixation of Russian defeat, respect and attention for Ukraine will be forever recorded in history for all future generations of our people. But this is earned now through battles for Ukraine, advances, and defense.
