Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 13, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The fifth hundred and fifty day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to wage an aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of our territory.

Forces defending Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on the Bakhmutsky, Melitopolsky and Berdyansk directions.

On the Novodanylivka — Shiroka Balka; Mala Tokmachka — Novopokrovka axes, there were partial successes in some places. They are consolidating on the achieved lines, inflicting artillery fire on identified targets of the enemy, and conducting counter-battery measures. The enemy is putting up fierce resistance, moving units and troops, actively using reserves.

On the Bakhmutsky direction, our forces continue to conduct offensive actions north and south of the city of Bakhmut. Here, on the southern flank of the advance, there were partial successes, consolidating on the achieved lines.

Russian terrorists continue to kill civilians in Ukraine and are still ignoring laws and customs of war, using a terror tactic.

During the night of July 13, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 20 strike drones of Iranian manufacture Shahed-136/131. The direction of attack — northeast from Kursk and southeast from Primorskaya-Akhmatovka.

The enemy also used two cruise missiles "Kalibr" from the Black Sea and one ballistic missile — "Iskander-M" from Yevpatoria in Crimea.

As a result of combat operations, all 20 strike drones were destroyed, mostly on Kyiv Oblast. Also, two cruise missiles "Kalibr" were destroyed at various locations. Information about the consequences of launching the missile from OTRK "Iskander-M" is being clarified.

To repel enemy attacks, air defense rocket units, destructive aviation, mobile fire groups of Air Forces and anti-aircraft defense of other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were involved.

Over the current and previous day, Air Forces conducted more than 15 group aerial strikes on Russian occupiers.

During the past day, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with strike drones of Iranian manufacture Shahed. A total of 15 kamikaze drones were used. As a result of successful combat operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 11 strike UAVs were destroyed. In total, the enemy carried out more than 60 aerial strikes and conducted 64 shelling with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, including children, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

The probability of missile and air strikes across the territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariupol directions. Heavy battles are ongoing. Over 35 combat engagements took place during the day.

On the Volynsky and Polissky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of forming offensive groupings have been detected. Units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains its military presence. During the day, it carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over 10 populated areas, including Huta-Studenetska in Chernihiv Oblast; Vintorovka, Manuhivka in Sumy Oblast, and Vidrodzhenevskoye, Izbitse, Zemlyanka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding their defense. The enemy carried out an air strike near Kislivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was suffered by Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk, Kislivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman direction, during the day the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast. It carried out air strikes near Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene, Veselo, Rozdolyvka in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 15 populated areas, including Nevske, Serbryanyy Les, Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene, Berestevo, Rozdolyvka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out air strikes near Stupochok, Oleksandr-Shulhtyno, and Dilievka. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Oleksandr-Shulhtyne, Dilievka, Druzhba, Pivnichne, and Pivdenne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka direction, under intense air and artillery fire from the enemy, our defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops near Avdiyivka and Keramika in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an air strike near Panteleymonovka in Donetska Oblast. At the same time, the enemy conducted artillery shelling of over 15 populated areas, including Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Yasnobrodove, and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol direction, forces defending Ukraine continue to prevent the advance of Russian troops near Mariupol. The enemy carried out an air strike near Krasnogorivka in Donetsk Oblast. It conducted shelling of over 15 populated areas, including Mariupol, Georgiyevka, Maximilianskaya, Pobeda, Elizavetovka and Katerynovka.

On the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Novomikhailivka and carried out air strikes near Zolotoy Nivo, Makarivka and Rivnopolye in Donetsk Oblast. It conducted shelling of populated areas Novomikhailivka, Vuhledar, Novoukrayinka, Prechistovka, Zolotoy Nivo and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing further advance of our troops. It conducted artillery shelling of over 20 populated areas, including Levadne, Olhyvskyi, Maliyivka, Yegorivka and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Shlyakhove, Tyagynka, Romashkovo, Sofiyivka, Stanislav in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson. At the same time, forces defending Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopolsky and Berdyansk directions, consolidating on achieved lines, inflicting artillery fire on identified targets of the enemy, conducting counter-battery measures.

In temporarily occupied Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, as a result of direct hits to the "Duna" hotel during the night, active removal of bodies of Russian servicemen by trucks was observed at the local morgue.

The enemy also strengthened counter-intelligence measures in temporarily occupied Mariupol. Occupants are conducting mass raids on houses and apartments of local residents, checking personal documents and mobile devices. In this way, occupiers try to intimidate the local population and identify those who help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Aviation of forces defending Ukraine carried out six strikes against areas of enemy manpower concentration, weapons and military equipment over the past day and four — against air defense missile systems of the enemy.

Units of rocket troops and artillery during the day hit one command point, 16 artillery units on firing positions, four air defense missile systems and two radar stations of the enemy.

In total, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 510 Russian occupiers over the past day, burned two tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, four MLRS, six anti-aircraft weapons, 26 UAVs at the operational-tactical level, 17 cars and five units of special equipment.
