The head coach of the Ukrainian women's youth national team WU-19 Valeriy Palamarzhuk announced a list of 20 players called up for training and preparation ahead of their participation in the first qualifying round of the European Championship 2023.
In the first round, the Ukrainian women's youth national team was placed in Group A6, where they will play against Germany, Austria and Israel. The matches will take place in Israel on November 8th, 11th and 14th at Shefayim National Team Complex (Shefa'amr) and Ramat Gan National Stadium.
From the 6th to the 15th of November, the Ukrainian delegation will travel to Tel Aviv. Prior to departure, Valeriy Palamarzhuk's wards are scheduled for a three-day training camp in Lviv.
Goalkeepers: Marina Dudnyk ("Kolos" Kovalevka), Varvara Novikova ("Ladomir" Volodymyr), Katerina Boklach ("Grenoble", France).
Defenders/Midfielders: Tetiana Bondarenko ("Dynamo" Kyiv), Daria Borisuk, Dilara Bondareva (both — "EMS-Podillya" Vinnytsia), Lesya Olkhova, Ruslana Levchenko, Dayana Semkiv (all — "Kryvyi Rih" Kryvyi Rih), Olena Yefymchuk, Bohdana Dub, Myroslava Nevor (all — "Ladomir" Volodymyr), Sofia Lutsan ("Medik", Poland), Victoriya Lavrenyuk ("Veres" Rivne), Elizaveta Molyduk ("Shakhtar" Donetsk), Maria Taleb ("Sampdoria", Italy), Valeriia Gresi ("Wipkingen", Switzerland).

In total, 28 teams will participate in Group A (including eight that advanced from Group B based on the results of the second qualifying round of the season-2021/2022 which concluded this spring). They were divided into seven groups. Teams in each group will play at one venue in a mini-tournament format.
Teams finishing fourth in their respective groups will continue to the second round in Group B. The seeding of participants for the second round will depend on which positions teams secure in their groups during the first round. Belgium will also participate despite having an automatic qualification spot as hosts.
Teams from Group B (including those that dropped down from Group A after the second qualifying round season-2021/2022, and Gibraltar's team making its debut in UEFA women’s tournaments) will compete for promotion to Group A across seven groups. Winners of each group will advance to a higher division.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian women's youth national team retained their place in Group A, finishing third in their group during the second qualifying round for Euro-2022.
