Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 1, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The ninetieth-eighth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, subunits of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to perform tasks related to strengthening the security of the Ukraine-Belarus border in Brest and Gomel regions. Measures are ongoing for checking combat readiness of designated units and military units.

On the Northern Direction, subunits of the enemy are conducting engineering equipment of positions in the areas of some populated places in Bryansk Oblast, at a distance of about 3 km from Ukraine's state border.

The aggressor carried out an air strike with Su-35 aircraft on Bilenivka, Sumy Oblast. Caused damage by artillery fire to the area around Seredyna-Buda, Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhansky Direction, the enemy continued to concentrate main efforts on holding occupied positions and conducting reconnaissance.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the enemy shelled populated places of Oleksandrivka, Slatyne, and Tsyrcuny with field artillery and multiple rocket launchers. Conducted strikes by army aviation helicopters in the areas around Veselye and Terneva.

On the Slavyansk Direction, the enemy carried out redeployment of troops. As a result of losses near Dolgoye, separate subunits were withdrawn for restoration to Izium city. To strengthen security and defense of logistics routes, the enemy reinforced units in Kupyansky populated place by transferring a battalion tactical group. Conducted reconnaissance of our forces' positions using BpLA "Orlan-10" in the areas around Izium, Pervomaisk, and Velika Komishuvaha.

On the Donetsk Direction, subunits of the aggressor with aviation support are concentrating main efforts on conducting offensive operations.

To inflict losses and exhaust personnel strength of our forces, the enemy is carrying out fire strikes along the line of contact from mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers. Repaired a railway bridge in the area around Kupyansky populated place to restore logistics supply by the Kupyansk-Liman railway branch.

On the Lyman Direction, the enemy reinforced subunits and redeployed them. With helicopter support from Ka-52, he is conducting an offensive towards Lyman — Starokaravansky, combat operations are ongoing.

On the Severodonetsk Direction, the aggressor carried out assault actions in northern, southern, and eastern areas of Severodonetsk city. Some subunits achieved success and consolidated in the center of the city.

On the Bakhmut Direction, the enemy is trying to drive our forces from occupied positions around Bilohorivka and Vrubivka. Applied tactical and army aviation in areas around Komishuvaha, Berestove, and Nirovka.

On the Zaporizhzhia Direction, the enemy is conducting engineering works to improve fortifications of second-line defense. Pre-dislocated a tank battalion T-62 and a motorized infantry battalion in the area around Vasylivka populated place.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, and Novopavlovka Directions, the enemy is holding occupied positions and causing fire strikes from mortars and field artillery.

On the South Buzhak Direction, the enemy is concentrating main efforts on holding occupied positions and creating additional defense lines. In areas around Mykolayivka, Novopavlivske, and Shirokoye, he carried out massive shelling with multiple rocket launchers, field artillery, and mortars.

In the waters of the Black Sea and Azov Sea, ships of the Russian Federation's Black Sea Fleet continue to perform tasks related to isolating the area of combat operations and blocking maritime navigation.

A storm dislodged two enemy sea mines from their moorings. One was washed ashore in Odesa region, where it was destroyed by specialists of the mine clearance unit of the military-maritime forces; another one was simply neutralized at sea by our soldiers.

In readiness to use missile armament in the Black Sea area is one carrier of cruise missiles of marine basing type "Kalibr".

Over the past day, nine enemy attacks were repelled on Donetsk and Luhansk Directions. Two tanks, thirteen artillery systems, eight armored combat vehicles, and six enemy vehicles were destroyed. In the south, in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, losses of Russian occupiers, apart from military equipment, amounted to nearly seventy people.
