To advance to the final stage of the European Championship, Ukraine's blue and yellow team needs to overcome the Netherlands (the hosts of the matches), Norway, and Serbia in their group.

Today, the Ukrainian youth national team U-19 (players born no later than 2003) will kick off at 17.00 Kyiv time with a match against Norway in the elite round of qualification for Euro 2022. The task facing coach Volodymyr Yezersky's players is challenging, as our footballers have not had any game practice since last autumn due to the suspension of all competitions. Unfortunately, there is another issue — Udod, Khromey, and Shostak will not be able to help their team because they were injured in the first match.

However, the blue and yellow team does not lose hope. The head coach said in an interview on the official website of the UAF that the team is more motivated than ever before. It's also worth noting that qualifying for the final stage of the European Championship will provide an opportunity to qualify for the 2023 FIFA World Cup U-20.

We remind you that under Volodymyr Yezersky, the team in the qualifying round secured first place in their group: they defeated Malta (4:2) and Finland (2:1), and drew with Poland (2:2).
