This year, Yuri Klimenko's protégées began their season preparation in the first third of summer. The first training camp for the girls was held from June 24 to 30 in Kyiv at Hydro Park, and the second one — also in the capital, from July 8 to 20. During these camps, the team coach had the opportunity to review 16 newcomers.

Immediately before the first competition of the season, a selection for the EuroLeague Super Final was organized on August 15-22, during which the final composition of the team was determined.

From August 30 to September 1, Ukrainians participated in the main stage of the EuroLeague-2024 tournament held in Nazaré, Portugal. In their opening match at the tournament, the blue and yellow team lost to Poland (1:3), while in the second match they lost to Portugal on penalties (1:1, 4:2 pen). The tournament concluded with a match against England (4:1). Ukraine's team secured third place in their group and qualified for the EuroLeague-2024 Super Final, which was held from September 10 to 15 in Alghero, Italy.

After losing consecutively to Portugal (3:4), Italy (0:1), and the Czech Republic (0:3) in the group stage, Ukraine's team secured fourth place in their quartet and only participated in matches for fifth-eighth places. Switzerland was our team's opponent in the consolation semifinals, which they lost in a tough battle (5:3). In the match for fifth-sixth place, Ukraine faced the Czech Republic again. Our girls managed to take revenge on their earlier loss in the group stage (3:2) and secured fifth place in the women's EuroLeague-2024.

At the beginning of November this year, the blue and yellow team held a week-long camp in Kyiv to prepare for their final tournament — Neom Beach Soccer Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia, which was scheduled from November 13-16.

In their first group stage match, Yuri Klimenko's protégées lost to Spain (1:6), won against England in the second one (4:2), and lost to Brazil in the third one (4:5). In the end, our team secured third place in their group and played for third place. They won against England in this match (5:4) and finished with a final third-place ranking at the tournament.

Thus, Ukraine's women's beach soccer team participated in 12 official international matches this year. They won six games and lost six (goal difference — 31-35). The top scorer of the season for blue and yellow was Yulia Kostyuk with seven goals.

In the world ranking of BSWW, Ukraine's women's beach soccer team holds fifth place (761.25 points).
