UAF secures internship deal for Ukrainian coaches with Manchester City football system

Caring for the qualification of coaches and the development of youth football in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) and Manchester City FC (England) have signed an agreement for the training and internship of Ukrainian coaches within the Manchester City football system.

The UAF is forming a team of 25 coaches and like-minded individuals who support the UAF's philosophy. Their goal is to nurture young footballers through modern training methods. They aim to elevate Ukrainian football internationally by preparing top-tier players for club teams and Ukraine's youth, U21, and national teams.

Requirements for candidates for the internship at Manchester City's academy (England):

— UEFA "C", "B", or "A" coaching license;

— A practicing coach working with youth teams, experienced with players of various levels and qualifications;

— A coach capable of systematically and proficiently sharing acquired knowledge with colleagues in Ukraine;

— A coach able to implement acquired knowledge in daily training processes for the development and progress of Ukrainian footballers;

— Willingness and readiness for continuous learning: practical internships, theoretical classes, Zoom conferences, email correspondence. 

— Systematic analysis, reporting, and communication regarding acquired knowledge;

— Proficiency in spoken English;

— Computer literacy: creating presentations, electronic documents, email, video editing;

— Possession of documents for unrestricted travel across Ukraine's borders;

— CV in both Ukrainian and English.
