UAF donates UAH 1.4 million raised at Ukrainian Cup final to Recovery national network for military rehabilitation

During the 2023/2024 season, the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) held the final match of the Ukrainian Cup for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The grand Ukrainian final between Vorskla and Shakhtar was called the Match of Gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the ability to hold matches with fans in the stadium is made possible thanks to the defenders.

All proceeds from ticket sales, amounting to 1,400,000 UAH, will be donated by the UAF to rehabilitate military personnel. The UAF team actively supports rehabilitation centers in Ukraine, and this time, the football association assists the national network of rehabilitation centers for wounded soldiers, RECOVERY. This project was founded by Victor and Olena Pinchuk to support the defenders of Ukraine who are resisting Russian aggression.
