The UAF Football Development Center is a social and sports project of the UAF aimed at popularizing mass football and attracting children to regular physical activity. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, young boys and girls learn basic elements of the game, how to act as part of a team, and develop both physical and social skills.

From "FIFA Arena" to daily training

On April 15, 2026, in Lviv, the two first mini-pitches of the FIFA Arena program were officially opened in Ukraine. Despite a full-scale war, Ukraine became one of the countries to which FIFA provided modern modular fields with artificial turf thanks to the efforts of the UAF and its president Andriy Shevchenko.

At that time, it was planned that the new pitches would become centers for the UAF Development Center. Now this idea has come to life: the pitches, which were still a new infrastructure several months ago, are filled every week with children's laughter, enthusiasm, and first football victories.

Why your child should train at the UAF Football Development Center

The UAF Football Development Center is:

• qualified coaches who have completed internships and continue to train according to the Manchester City Academy methodology within a partnership with the UAF;

• high engagement of the coaching staff and an individual approach to each student;

• development of physical qualities and formation of a healthy lifestyle;

• training in team interaction and football thinking;

• improving the skills of quick analysis and decision-making on the field;

• cultivation of respect and principles of fair play;

• formation of discipline and self-confidence;

• a safe and positive environment that takes into account the needs of each child.

Training at the UAF Football Development Center is free. Boys and girls are invited to attend.
