We remind you that in the group stage, Igor Moskvin's wards first defeated Moldova (7:0), then lost to Portugal (0:4), and finally beat Italy (2:0). As a result, our team secured second place in Group A and advanced to the semifinals.

After the decisive match against the Italians in the group stage, the coach of the blue-and-yellow team summed up its results, reports UEFA.

"I am very happy that Ukraine is again in the semifinals, but our goal is to reach the final, so we have one more step to make. I am proud of my team, as after the match with Portugal. Despite the loss in that game, we received positive emotions.

We analyzed Italy's previous matches and identified their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, our tactics aimed at creating them as many problems as possible, and we also developed a defensive plan," — said Igor Moskvin.

Today, the Ukraine U-19 team will face Spain in the semifinals. On their way to this stage, Spain defeated Turkey (3:0), Czech Republic (3:2), and Slovenia (6:2) in Group B. The match can be watched on MEGOGO with subscriptions "Max" and "Sport". Kick-off is at 18:00.
