Participants of the UAF project and regional football associations' "Open Football Lessons" in September continue organizing football events for children in 18 regions of Ukraine.

Within a project supported by the "New Democracy" Foundation (NDF) and the Cross-Cultural Projects Association (CCPA) from Denmark, youth hubs have been created in 18 regions of Ukraine to provide psychosocial support for children affected by war through football activities. A network of young leaders trained by UAF is focusing on implementing their own volunteer football projects for kids in their communities, including components of psychological support and mine safety.

In Vinnytsia villages on the basis of a recently opened youth center (Nyzhynska St., 33-B) and in Koziatyn at Lyceum No. 4 (Kotovskogo St., 20), mini-festivals "Open Football Lessons" will take place on September 7th and 14th, respectively.

In Lviv, on the basis of LFK «Adrenaline» (Chornovola St., 3-А) throughout the month, football sections of the project will operate. On September 9-13, football events dedicated to Sports and Physical Culture Day will take place, while on September 12th and 17th, there will be football sessions with elements of mine safety, traffic rules training, psychological training involving DSNZ and National Police, and on September 13th and 14th, a mini-football tournament dedicated to Lviv Day.

In Sinelnikovo, Dnipropetrovsk region, on the basis of Lyceums No. 4, 5, and 6, "Sweet Cups" football tournaments for children will take place on September 7th, 14th, and 21st.

In Korosten, Zhytomyr region, on the basis of a local Lyceum No. 5 (Pashinska St., 2), mini-festivals for children "Open Football Lessons" will take place involving local DSNZ and education department on September 11th, 18th, and 25th.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, at the Catholic Lyceum of St. Basil the Great (Shevchenka St., 11), there will be: fun football games-shows on September 10th, "Throw and Break" football challenge on September 12th, football games in a youth hub on September 13th, and a "Football Blitz" sports event on September 19th.

In Glukhiv, Kyiv region, at the Glukhiv Resource Space (Vokzalna St., 9), there will be: Movement Day and Ice Cream Day in a youth football hub on September 14th, Forgiveness Day and Active Resting Skills Day on September 21st, and lively entertainment football games for children on September 28th.

In Kropyvnytskyi, at Lyceum "Victoria-P" (Telnov St., 20), there will be: an educational quest with mine safety and psychological games in a youth football hub involving the local DSNZ and regional association of football on September 7th, and a mass sports event dedicated to Sports and Physical Culture Day on September 18th.

In Podillia, Odesa region, at SK "Podillya" (Soborna St., 66-А), a football tournament dedicated to Sports and Physical Culture Day will take place on September 18th.

In Poltava, events will be held in different locations: on September 16 at Lyceum No. 13 "Success" — the "Laughing Game" football event, on September 18 at Lyceum No. 17 "Intellect" — the "Sports Dream" football event, and on September 20 at School No. 30 — a sports quest "Football Adventure."

In Kostopol, Rivne region, at the local DYSKH (Artillery Street, 7), a fun football event for children is planned for September 17.

In Sumy, due to favorable circumstances, events will take place at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. Makarenko — the "Football Stars of Sumy Region" quest, a sports event "Sports Youth," and games with football elements "Happy Starts."

In Zboriv, Ternopil region, at School No. 1 (Hohol St., 12), on September 12 there will be a cyber-football tournament, and from September 16-18 — the School Football League in a youth hub.

In Staryi Synyav, Khmelnytskyi region, at a local lyceum (Grushevskoho St., 17), football events "Autumn Fun," "Hello School!" and "Autumn Championship" will take place on September 10th, 13th, and 16th respectively.

In Smila, Cherkasy region, at the «Youth» stadium (Mitsurina St., 43), there will be a football event for children "Day of Health," an Olympic Football Day dedicated to the Olympic Week, a psychological training session for children participating in a youth football hub "How to Deal with Stress," cool relay race for kids and parents, and workshop with young volunteers from the hub.

In Chernivtsi, at Gymnasium No. 15 (Mazepa St., 8-А), on September 8 there will be a meeting with a psychologist and football master classes by famous Bukovynian football players, while on September 15 in the forest of Tsepin — "Day of Health" outdoors with football relay races and self-defense master class in a youth football hub.

In Chernihiv, at School No. 35 (Nyzhynska St., 42-А), open training sessions for children with football will take place on September 7th and 21st, "Sweet Cup" football tournament on September 14th, and a mini-festival "Open Football Lessons" on September 28th.

In addition, youth leaders and volunteers in communities are preparing to hold "Open Football Lessons" festivals in September-October, which will engage many children who have not previously been involved in sports through their favorite game. These events will provide psychological support for war-affected children and unite children from IDP communities with their peers.
