President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about a meeting with leaders of regions most affected by missile strikes and his working visit to Odesa and Mykolaiv.

"I wish good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today all day – in our southern regions. First – Odesa and the region, then – Mykolaiv, then – Kherson. Many issues, almost all about security, about protecting our state, about protecting our people.

Odesa – a meeting with military personnel. PPO for the city, for the region, for Ukrainian Black Sea ports, our export corridor. I want to thank everyone who is defending the region and working to add capabilities to the southern air defense.

Today had an opportunity to award state honors to soldiers who distinguished themselves most.

Conducted a detailed meeting with leaders of all those regions that were most affected by missile strikes. This is Odesa region, and Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kyiv regions. Government officials – ministers of internal affairs, energy, infrastructure – reported. I thank everyone who worked these days to restore traffic on roads, to restore electricity supply. All rescuers from DSSN, National Police, National Guard, communal services – thank you all.

I instructed to increase the number of repair teams and equipment so as quickly as possible to ensure people with electricity. If necessary, forces of DSSN and energy workers from other regions where there were no such problems with missile strikes will be involved.

It is very important that the number of emergency points in all regions should be sufficient for any extraordinary situation – whether weather-related or security-related.

Regarding heating supply in Odesa. There is readiness from the regional administration to help the city with everything needed to restore a boiler house damaged by missile strikes.

Visited a center for internally displaced persons in Odesa, including our citizens who were evacuated from Gaza sector. And grateful that people are truly cared about.

Mykolaiv. Meeting with our Danish friends working in the city on restoration. Real effective patronage as we agreed upon – Ukraine and Denmark. There were also representatives of diplomatic corps – those countries which we invited to join the reconstruction programs, sponsorship programs. I thank for such attention to Ukraine, for such faith in Ukraine.

There was a very emotional and important meeting with students from three Mykolaiv higher education institutions. Universities that are working, students who are studying – in Ukraine. For Ukraine. Adult questions. Honest emotions. Clear bright eyes. Boys, girls, I thank you for today's conversation.

We do everything so that our entire state and all of our people become stronger and always remain free.

And finally, Kherson. Protection of the city, protection of the region. Local leaders presented results in construction of shelters. Corresponding plans which will be implemented further.

I conducted a very substantive, detailed meeting with military personnel. About work specifically in the south. Discussed what is necessary. Agreed on goals. Clearly see and prioritize communication with partners regarding supply.
