President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, detailing a thorough analysis of recent attacks on our country by rockets and drones as well as signing into law the state budget for next year.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Just held an important meeting of the General Staff — a special, lengthy, detailed one. First, fortifications. We are significantly strengthening them. There were detailed reports at all levels: General Staff, Ministry of Defense, Prime Minister, regional authorities, commanders of OSUM. All finances are in place. All decisions have been made. Full corresponding work must be done in communities. Everything is absolutely detailed — our country will definitely have enough concrete and metal. We need more speed and efficiency, and everyone responsible for this has clear assignments.

There was also a significant analysis of recent attacks on Ukraine — rockets, mass drone strikes. We analyzed the tactics of our air defense system. A clear need exists to develop and strengthen our mobile fire groups as well as all maximally effective air defense systems. Specifically, we analyzed the work of "Patriots" and "NASAMS" — everything is very effective, I am grateful to partners who help us with these systems. The commander of Air Forces and other relevant commanders have been given necessary instructions.

There were, of course, reports from commanders on all front lines. Special attention was paid to the Donetsk direction: Avdiivka, Mariinka, the area around Bakhmut. There — the most intense combat encounters over this day. I thank all our soldiers for their strength and resilience. The Kupyansk direction — I want to particularly highlight the holding of our positions there. We also discussed our actions on southern fronts.

I held a separate meeting today with the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, one could call it optimistic. We are preparing, among other things, good long-range stuff so that occupiers feel Ukrainian power.

And one more thing.

I signed into law the state budget for next year. Clearly, its main priority is defense against Russian aggression. But at the same time, we take into account social needs of our people and fully fulfill our country's social obligations. In times of full-scale war, it is extremely important that every citizen who needs state support receives it. And everyone who now creates jobs, preserves business and even develops it, all those who work honestly in Ukraine and with Ukraine to support others, support both our defense and our approach towards Ukrainian goals. To protect and strengthen our independence, to defend our people, to restore normal, decent life — as much as possible. I thank everyone fighting and working for this! Glory to all Ukrainian soldiers! Glory to our powerful nation!
