After the fourth round of group stage matches in European club competitions, Ukraine remains at the 17th position on UEFA's five-year coefficient ranking for the cycle 2019/2020–2023/2024 and continues to fight for a spot in the top-15 to retain two qualifying spots for the Champions League.

Five domestic clubs started the season-2023/2024, and three of them have already exited after falling into the Conference League: "Vorskla" lost to "Dijon" (1:3), "Dnipro-1" —to "Spartak Moscow" (1:2), and "Dynamo Kyiv" —to "Besiktas" (0:1).

This week, Ukraine gained two points thanks to Shakhtar Donetsk's victory over Barcelona (1:0), bringing the total coefficient score up.

Ukraine has 27.000 points in total and is currently ranked 17th, with two clubs participating in European competitions this season. The country needs to maintain its position or improve it to secure two qualifying spots for next season's Champions League.
