Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and fortieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

Last night, the Russian Federation carried out another air strike on Ukraine, using Iranian attack drones Shahed-136/131. A total of 17 attack UAVs were launched from the Kursk region. Our anti-aircraft defense destroyed 15 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.

During the past day, the enemy carried out three missile and 41 air strikes, conducted 74 artillery attacks on our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure suffered damage.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the territory of Ukraine remains high.

During the past day, 36 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Chervona Zoria and Veterinarne Kharkiv Oblast. The enemy conducted mortar and artillery shelling of over 25 populated areas, including Karpovychi, Gremyach Chernihiv Oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Rozhkovychi, Vodolagi Sum Oblast, and Strilecha, Vochniansk, Krasny Yar, Zemlyanka in Kharkiv.

On the Kupyansk Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Synykyvka Kharkiv Oblast. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Kurilivka, Kyslivka and Glushkivka Kharkiv Oblast. The populated areas that suffered artillery and mortar shelling from the enemy are Kamianka, Krasne Pereche, Masutyvka, Kyslivka, Berestove Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka Luhansk Oblast and Spirtne Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling from the enemy was suffered by about 15 populated areas, including Nevske, Kremen, Bilohorivka Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Svato-Pokrovsko, Svitlodolsk, Rizdolivka Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas east of White Hill and Toretsk Donetsk Oblast. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Klyshchivka and Andriyivka Donetsk Oblast. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, White Hill, Dilievka, Pleshyevka, New York Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Novokalynovo and Avdiivka Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 15 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Tonenke, Severne, Nevelskoe, Netaylove, Karlivka Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka Direction Forces of Defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the areas of Marinka and Krasnogorivka Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Krasnogorivka Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 10 populated areas, including Gorye, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Konstantinovka, Antonivka Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Staromajorska. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velika Novosilka, Blagodatne, Urozhayne, Rivnopil Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia Direction The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotino Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Over 20 populated areas suffered from artillery shelling, including Levadne, Zatishya, Novoandriyivka, Stepole, Pyatykhatsky, Plyavnaya Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson Direction Over 15 populated areas suffered from artillery shelling, including Mikhailivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovskoye Kherson Oblast and Ochakiv Mykolaiv Oblast.

At the same time, Forces of Defense Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk Directions, consolidate on gained positions, carry out counter-battery measures.

The Air Force of the Forces of Defense carried out 10 strikes in areas of enemy personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment during the past day and one strike against an enemy air defense missile complex.

Subdivisions of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on two areas of enemy personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, four artillery systems at firing positions, two command posts and two radio-electronic combat stations during the past day.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 500 Russian occupiers over the past day, destroyed eight tanks, fourteen armored fighting vehicles, nineteen artillery systems, six UAVs of operational-tactical level, seven cars and two units of special equipment.
