The head coach of the German national team, Hans-Dieter Flick, commented on his team's preparation plan for the upcoming friendly matches in June, one of which will be against Ukraine in Bremen.

On June 12, the Ukrainian national team will play a friendly match against Germany. This match will be the 1,000th for the German team and will also be charitable in nature. The meeting will take place at the "Weserstadion" in Bremen.

The head coach of the German national team, Hans-Dieter Flick, shared his thoughts with the press service of the German Football Association (DFB) regarding this match and the overall June training camp.

"We will play this special match against Ukraine, followed by two strong opponents in friendlies — Poland and Colombia. In these friendly matches, we want to develop what the team demonstrated in the second half of our recent friendly with Belgium (2-3)."

The first half showed that there is still a lot of work for us to do if we are to reach the final of the European Championship. But if the team correctly absorbs this lesson and plays as they did in the next 60 minutes, defending strongly and pushing forward boldly, our supporters will be behind us, and the entire stadium will be with us. We felt this support very clearly in Cologne and want to take this momentum into the next three matches,"— Flick said.

We remind you that the proceeds from the charitable match between Germany and Ukraine will go to the DFB Foundation, which continues to help people affected by Russian military aggression. Specific projects and initiatives for assistance will be selected jointly with the Ukrainian Football Association.
