To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 4, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred eighty-fourth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Plyshanka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Berehove, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Bahmutsko, Bahmut, Opitne, Klyschyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Veseloye, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 10 rocket strikes, 16 air raids, as well as over 30 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems on our troops' positions and populated areas along the line of contact. Civilian infrastructure objects in Shevchenkove, Kharkiv Oblast, and Kramatorsk in Donetsk were hit by missile attacks.

There remains a threat of enemy missile strikes against energy system facilities and critical infrastructure across Ukraine's territory.

On the Volynian and Polissian fronts, the situation has remained unchanged, with no signs of the formation of offensive groupings by the enemy detected.

On the Northern front, the enemy shelled populated places of Sopich and Timofiyivka in Sumy Oblast with mortars.

On the Slobozhanskyi front, artillery shelling affected areas around more than 10 populated places. Among them — Onorobivka, Strilecha, Neskuhne, Terova, Starytsia, Ogireve, Chernyakiv, Chugunivka and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts, the enemy is on the defensive. Carried out shelling with tanks and various caliber artillery at areas of Synkivky, Tabayivka, Berehovo and Vishneve in Kharkiv Oblast as well as Makieyevka, Plyshanka and Bihorivka in Luhansk.

On the Bahmut and Avdiivka fronts, occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive actions, trying to improve tactical positions. Shelling with tanks, mortars, artillery and rocket artillery affected areas of Serbyanka, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Bahmut, Kurdyumivka, Pivdenne, Avdiivka, Opitne, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnogorivka, Veseloye, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivskyi front, the enemy is on the defensive. Artillery fire was recorded around areas of Velika Novosilka, Vuhledar, Prechystyvka and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya front, the enemy is on the defensive. Artillery shelling was recorded around areas near Orikhovo in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

On the Kherson front, occupiers are also on the defensive. They carry out shelling with mortars, artillery and rocket artillery at our troops' positions as well as populated places in Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts. The terror of fire against civilians in Kherson continues.

Regarding losses of Russian occupiers. According to updated information, from November 28 to 30 this year, up to 70 wounded and over 230 dead Russian invaders were transported to medical facilities in temporarily occupied populated places in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. In addition, on December 2, another batch of the wounded and bodies of the killed occupiers was brought to a local hospital in Melitopol.

Looting and robbery of the local population continue on territories temporarily occupied by enemy troops. From local stores in Nova Kakhovka, Russian invaders are exporting all goods and equipment, including refrigerators and cash registers. In Novomikhailivka, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, 100 occupiers organized a check of documents of local residents, confiscation of personal valuables and household appliances on December 2 this year.

In addition, in populated places temporarily occupied by Kherson Oblast, Russian invaders are forcing the local population to hand over their children for education under the Russian program through threats of depriving parental rights.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 22 strikes against areas of personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, as well as three strikes against enemy positions of anti-aircraft missile systems during the past day.

Also, Ukrainian soldiers shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft and a unmanned aerial vehicle of the type "Orlan-10".

Units of Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery over the past day damaged two command points, ammunition depot, three areas of personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, as well as an area of artillery systems.
