To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 20, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and seventy day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy continues its military aggression against our state and does not stop delivering blows to industrial objects. It concentrates efforts on restraining the actions of Defense Forces, carries out engineering equipment along the line of defense. On certain sectors it continues to conduct offensive operations.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene, Yakovlivka, Bahmutse, Bahmut, Opitne, and Klyschyivka in Donetsk.

The enemy delivered one air raid and four missile strikes, carried out 59 shelling from multiple rocket launchers.

In violation of international humanitarian law norms, laws, and customs of war, objects of civilian infrastructure in the cities of Svyatogorsk and Kramatorsk were hit by Russian Federation missiles.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern Directions there have been no significant changes in the situation. Signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected.

In border areas of Bryansk and Kursk Oblasts, the enemy maintains its units. It is possible that the enemy will attempt military provocations on the state border as well as attempts to infiltrate reconnaissance-diversionary groups from the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.

On the Slobozhansky Direction in border areas of Belgorod Oblast, enemy units continue to cover the Russian-Ukrainian border, conducting demonstrative and provocative actions. They carried out a mortar shelling in the area of the populated place of Staritsa Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman Directions occupiers are defending on occupied positions. Enemy shelling with mortars, artillery, and multiple rocket launchers was recorded in the areas of the populated places of Kryhmalne, Tabayivka Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselyvskoye, Steylmakhivka, Makiyivka, Ploschanok, and Nevskoye Luhansk Oblast as well as Berezhovoye in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmutsky, Avdiyivsky, and Novopavlivsky Directions the enemy concentrates its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. It conducts shelling with tanks and all types of artillery in the areas of the populated places of Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Bilohorivka, Rozdolyvka, Veselye, Yakovlivka, Solodar, Bahmutse, Bahmut, Opitne, Klyschyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Krassnogorivka, Pereviomayske, Mariinka, Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar and Veremivka in Donetsk.

On the Zaporizhzhia Direction occupiers are defending on occupied positions. Areas of populated places of Novopil, Novo, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Plavni, Stepanohirsk and Vyschytarasivka in Zaporizhzhia were affected by artillery fire from the enemy.

On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson Directions the enemy conducts positional defense, improves fortification equipment and logistical support for forward units, does not stop artillery shelling of our troops' positions and populated places on the right bank of the Dnipro River. For clarification of our troops' positions and correction of artillery fire, it carries out aerial reconnaissance with UAVs. It fired from tanks, field and multiple rocket launchers at areas of Kachkarivka, Tokaryvka, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, and Kherson city.

According to available information, the command of Russian occupation forces plans to redeploy certain units withdrawn during their retreat from the right bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region for continued combat operations in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Mobilized individuals, who make up most of these formations, are very upset about the prospects of implementing these plans.

In Luhansk Oblast, Russian occupiers are setting up additional checkpoints to detect and detain deserters.

Confirmed results of artillery strikes by Defense Forces units on enemy manpower concentrations on November 18 in the populated places of Vasilyivka, Novobogdanivka, Mykhaylivka (Vasylivsky District) and Komish-Zorya in temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Losses among occupiers amounted to over 160 people wounded. About ten units of various types of military equipment were destroyed as well as an ammunition depot. Information about the dead is being verified.

Over the past day, our soldiers shot down a UAV of the "Orlan-10" type and damaged an enemy command post and ammunition depot.
