We remind you that five domestic clubs started the season-2022/2023, and two of them have already stopped competing — «Vorskla» and «Zorya» were eliminated from the Conference League.

This week, Ukraine has achieved a very respectable harvest — five points or 1.000 points (the draw between «Shakhtar» and «Celtic» in the Champions League group stage (1:1) and «Dynamo» against AEK Athens in the Europa League group stage (3:3), plus a victory by «Dnipro-1» over «Apollon Limassol» in the Conference League with an additional bonus for advancing from the group stage), which allowed Ukraine to surpass Switzerland in the rankings.

Among neighbors and competitors in the ranking, we have the best result. Turkey added 0.8 points to its tally, Switzerland — 0.75, Czech Republic — 0.5 (though a match involving «Slovakia» will be replayed), while Norway and Denmark remain with zero points. 

As such, Ukraine currently holds the 15th position and is trailing Czech Republic in 14th place by 0.050 points (1 point), Turkey in 13th place by 0.200 points (1), Norway in 12th place by 0.250 points (2). At the same time, Ukraine leads Switzerland by 0.075 points (1) and Denmark — by 1.875 points (10). 

The strategic minimum goal for Ukraine is to secure a place in the top-15 of the UEFA coefficient rankings, as associations below this position lose one Champions League quota and delegate four clubs to European competitions.

Overall, «Shakhtar» has 9 points (including four bonuses for reaching the group stage of the Champions League), «Dnipro-1» — 8 (with one bonus for advancing to the Conference League playoffs), «Dynamo» — 4.5, and both «Zorya» and «Vorskla» have earned one point each. Ukraine's total is currently 23.5 points or 4.7 points (23.5:5). 

This ranking determines the representation for the European season-2024/2025, in which we remind you that the group stage system is planned to change to a Swiss format with an increase in the number of participants to 36. The overall representation from associations and the starting grid for all three tournaments still need to be ratified by UEFA.
