On the final weekend of the 2024 Olympics, UAF President Andriy Shevchenko visited Volia Space, Ukraine's main cultural and media hub at the Games in Paris.

"The Olympics are a great platform for Ukraine to tell the world who we are and what is happening to us. We've often heard that "sports are outside politics", but not in this case!" Andriy Shevchenko remarked.
The head of the national association also noted that the organization's mission is to ensure that the talents forced to leave their homes due to Russia's full-scale invasion are not lost.

"My task is to do everything possible so that we don't lose young talents who have scattered across the world and to ensure they continue to represent Ukraine. Within the country, I am determined to build a strong structure that will develop football," the UAF President stated.
