On August 6, an official ceremony was held at the House of Football to honor the Dynamo Kyiv U-19 team, who, under the leadership of former Ukraine national team player Ihor Kostiuk, won the 2023/2024 U-19 Ukrainian Championship.
UAF President Andriy Shevchenko participated in the award ceremony.
"Before we proceed with the awards, I want to thank our defenders who protect our country and allow us to play football in Ukraine and hold such ceremonies.

I want to congratulate you, guys, not just on your victory in the last championship! I want to congratulate you on making the right choice by wearing the Dynamo Kyiv jersey. The Dynamo football school offers great opportunities, and I can attest to this from personal experience.

Winning the U-19 championship is a significant achievement, but it's only the beginning of your career. To make each subsequent victory even more meaningful, you will need to take new steps now. Each of these steps will be much more responsible and much more challenging. Therefore, you must prepare thoroughly for each new step. First and foremost, mentally. You need to set new goals for yourself and understand how you will prepare for them, and how you will execute your plan. These goals may be set for the coming years, the coming day, or even the coming hour. But the most important thing is to achieve them. Discipline, hard work, self-belief, and, most importantly, the desire to work for the team will help you.

Once again, I congratulate you on your victory in the championship and wish you to represent the club and the country with dignity in the UEFA Youth League. Play in such a way that we can proudly say again — guys, you did great!" said Andriy Shevchenko.
"I want to wish you a long professional career and that the U-19 championship victory becomes the smallest achievement in your list of titles after your football career ends! Your victory was very convincing because you demonstrated high-quality football in the last championship — you scored the most goals and conceded the fewest. I wish you continued success and many bright football moments!" said UPL President Yevhen Dykyi to the Dynamo players.
The players, coaches, and administrative staff of Dynamo Kyiv received gold medals and a special trophy for winning the U-19 championship.
