UAF: donate to rebuild Ohmatdyt
The Ukrainian Association of Football donates 5 million UAH to assist the largest children's clinical hospital in Ukraine, which was damaged by a missile strike on Kyiv on July 8.
A Russian missile hit the premises of Ohmatdyt, a hospital with 620 beds that treats over 20,000 children annually. Ohmatdyt diagnoses and treats oncological and hematological diseases, including bone marrow transplants. Among other damages, the building housing critically ill children on dialysis was destroyed.
"This brutal attack is yet another horrific testament that Ukraine is fighting against terrorists and struggling for its existence. The world needs to see what is happening in our country every day. Help Ukraine stand strong!" urged UAF President Andriy Shevchenko, calling on the global community to respond to the crime.
