"I wish good health to all Ukrainians,

Here are a few summaries of today's events.

First. Today, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan is visiting Ukraine. A very important and strong partner. I am grateful for the level of relations between our countries — true partnership, strategic partnership. And I am also thankful for the support that Japan has provided to our country — security assistance, strong leadership in the "Group of Seven" and international politics overall, economic support — we value it — humanitarian reinforcement of Ukraine. One of our best international results is relations with Japan. There is now a new large package of energy support for Ukraine. I am grateful for the financial support provided to our country. Today, we discussed our further cooperation, including the conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine planned for February and also our future joint security steps, work regarding the Peace Formula and strengthening sanctions against Russia. I am confident that this year will be quite eventful for our relations.

Second. Sweden. Participated today in the opening of a security conference organized annually by the Swedish association "People and Defense". One of the most significant events in Northern Europe and the largest representative one in Sweden. The conference will continue to work for a week — today is the first, launch day. Presented our country's view on those challenges and opportunities that are now present both for our countries — Ukraine and Sweden, and for Europe as a whole. Key — solidarity and joint actions. We have already shown that our consolidation — of everyone in Europe and the free world — is capable of taking on everything, even the largest manifestations of aggression. And this year we need to do even more. We also need to add cooperation in defense production — in joint projects, including in Ukraine. Swedish combat vehicles CV-90, Swedish artillery — "archers" — have already proven themselves in the hands of our soldiers on the front lines. And all of our Europe has sufficient potential to guarantee security under any circumstances and global political moods.

Third. Held a lengthy meeting regarding our plans for this year in relations with partners in the European Union and NATO. Our communication, internal changes, steps in relations that we are counting on. Also non-public work with partners. Clearly formulating tasks. The head of the Verkhovna Rada, the Prime Minister, and the profile Vice-Premier Minister, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defense and his first deputy, and internationalists from the Office of the President were at the meeting, as well as the Chief of the Office. Our priorities are clear: fully implement the decision to open negotiations, prepare our negotiation framework with the European Union, and also develop such a system of relations and communication with Alliance members so that every country, every leader feels 100% that together with Ukraine NATO will become significantly stronger.

One more thing. Rescue operations continue today in Pokrovsk and nearby villages. This is the Donetsk region. Consequences of yesterday's Russian missile strike. Searches for people under debris are ongoing. All necessary services are working on site, including our rescuers from Ukraine's State Emergency Service, police officers. And I am grateful to everyone involved in this work. In particular, I want to highlight Sergeant Vitaliy Buta, Master Sergeant Volodymyr Dolenko, Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Machulnyy and Major Serhiy Pishnograiev. Thank you for your dedication. Also, I would like to mention police officers from the Donetsk region: Police Sergeant Illia Petrenko, Police Lieutenant Yaroslav Yaretskyi and Police Captain Serhiy Levchenko. Thank you, guys.

I also want to say about the police of Kharkiv region — those who help deal with the consequences of Russian terrorist strikes, help people, communicate with relatives of those killed, establish the truth and document Russian war crimes. In particular, I would like to mention police officers who worked at the scene after a Russian strike on the village of Groza in Kupyansk district: Police Major Yuliia Brazhko, Police Major Nataliya Matviienko and Police Colonel Oksana Oliinyk. I am grateful to you and all your colleagues who work for people and Ukraine.

Thank you to everyone in Ukraine who adds strength to our country, strengthens our positions, our soldiers and the entire Ukrainian nation.

Glory to Ukraine!"
