“I was fortunate not only to play under the guidance of Valeriy Vasylovych but also to work in his coaching staff. He is more than just a coach, more than an older colleague for me. I learned so much from Valeriy Vasylovych, not just on the football field. And therefore, I will be grateful to my teacher for all of my life. And the coaching ideas of Valery Lobanovskyi are so ahead of their time that they remain number one in the world even now!” — Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko told the press service of the UAF.
