President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about several important meetings regarding further international steps of our state and the necessity to soberly assess the Russian system.

"I wish good health, dear Ukrainians!

First of all, I want to highlight our combat brigades. All soldiers fighting on the hottest fronts. Thank you to everyone who with their assaults and steadfastness - heroic steadfastness - proves that Ukraine is capable of standing up to Russian pressure, capable of destroying occupiers, capable of winning.

53rd and 110th separate mechanized brigades, 79th brigade of special purpose units — thank you boys for Avdiivka and Mariinka! 14th, 32nd and 57th separate motorized infantry brigades — thank you for defending the Kupyansk direction. 80th separate airborne assault brigade and 93rd separate mechanized brigade — thank you soldiers for the Bakhmut direction, for advancing forward! 33rd separate mechanized brigade — thank you for your strength in battles on southern Ukraine!

Today I held important talks with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. Informed him about the situation at the front lines, our actions and possibilities. I am grateful for the help! For air defense systems, for ammunition for our soldiers, for powerful things that help us maintain security in the eastern part of the Black Sea. Our agreements with Mark, which we discussed during a meeting in Odessa, are being fulfilled. It is also very important that the Netherlands became the first country outside the “Big Seven”, with which we started bilateral work on security guarantees. We discussed with Mr. Prime Minister the results of the talks between representatives regarding the Peace Formula on Malta.

Met with a delegation from the US Congress — three congressmen who are visiting Ukraine. An important visit of solidarity. I am grateful to everyone in Congress — both parties, — who help defend freedom, President Biden, his team and every American who feels that freedom in the world can only stand when America is strong and there is no doubt among enemies of free world about American leadership. I informed congressmen about the situation at the front lines, about very successful use of American “HIMARS”, recently transferred to our defense forces. Of course, we also discussed questions of prolonging military and budgetary support.

I held several important meetings today regarding our further international steps. A concluding meeting about the talks between representatives on Malta and future plans concerning the Peace Formula. A meeting about the expected evaluation from the European Commission regarding our progress in European integration. And also a meeting about our strategy to maintain world attention towards Ukraine, with support of that unity which helps us defend ourselves and ensure systemic weakening of the state-aggressor.

We need to soberly assess the Russian system. They have mobilized all forces trying not to lose what they seized in Ukraine, but their territory is already polluted by such a level of hatred and degradation that Russia has lost control over events twice this year. Whether it's rioters marching on Moscow and no one stopping them, or the vertical of power disintegrating in Dagestan with actual riots taking place. All these are signals that Russia can still endure military actions and increase pressure at some points along the front line, but is unable to sustain this strategic confrontation.

Strategically we all need to be strong, we need to be united, we must do what's possible and impossible to stand up, take back our own, and prove that freedom is indeed stronger than hatred and aggression. For this we need unity with you, the unity of all Europe, the unity of America, the unity of the entire free world… Unity — is the most effective, precise and long-range weapon.
