Today the American club "Inter Miami" Argentine forward Lionel Messi was awarded the "Golden Ball", which is given to the best footballer in the world by the weekly France Football. This is the eighth time that the striker has won this award, having previously done so in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, and 2021.

We remind you that this prestigious trophy was also won by three Ukrainian footballers. In 1975, the "Golden Ball" went to Oleg Blokhin, in 1986 to Igor Belanov, and in 2004 to Andriy Shevchenko.
