Before the Euro-2024 qualification match against North Macedonia (2:0) in Prague, the first vice-president of the Ukrainian Football Association, Vadym Kostyuchenko, and the deputy general secretary of the UFA, Ihor Gryshchenko, held an official meeting.

The meeting also included representatives from UEFA, Josef Clement, president of the Football Association of the Czech Republic and member of the UEFA Executive Committee, Petr Fušek, as well as Muhammed Sejdiu, president of the Football Federation of North Macedonia.

During the meeting, cooperation between national associations was discussed and assistance to Ukraine, particularly in developing children's and youth football. This includes implementing social projects in Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and North Macedonia for displaced children, as well as organizing football camps in these countries for Ukrainian teams. Additionally, representatives of the UFA thanked UEFA for its support and continued implementation of a policy isolating teams at all levels from the Russian federation.
