President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the need to avoid internal conflicts and discord and about efforts to support our defense forces.

"Unbreakable people of an unbreakable country!

The fourth day of this winter is passing. This winter will be difficult, that much is clear. But it's worth perceiving this winter not as a test but as time — time that brings us closer to the main goal — victory. Each of these 90 winter days.

The enemy hopes to use winter against us: make cold and hardships part of his terror. We must do everything to withstand this winter, no matter how hard it is. Withstand it — and we will. Withstanding this winter means defending everything.

Russia still has missiles and an artillery advantage. Yes, but we have something the occupier does not and never will have. We are defending our home, which gives us the strongest motivation possible. We fight for freedom, which always multiplies any strength. We defend truth, which unites the entire world around Ukraine.

We see happy people when they meet the Ukrainian flag in liberated cities — everywhere where Ukraine returns. People return, Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), all of us. This means that we are coming to every place still occupied. They wait and believe that Ukraine will return. And they know well: if Russia invaded, it's not forever.

To get through this winter, we must help each other even more than ever before and care for one another even more. Don't ask whether to help — just help when you see that you can do so.

To get through the winter, we must be stronger and more united than ever before. No internal conflicts or discord that could weaken us should be tolerated, not even if someone thinks it might somehow strengthen them personally. We need more interaction than ever before. All of Ukraine must become one great "Unbreakable Point" and work day and night. The state, business, people — all of us Ukrainians together.

This fall, much was done to strengthen the country's positions and make the occupier lose ground. We need to do everything so that we can say the same after this winter too. Ukrainians worked around the clock to restore normalcy in life after Russian strikes. And no matter how large-scale the occupant’s terror is, our desire to restore everything in our home has always been even larger. It must be like this going forward.

Our defense forces are firmly holding positions and even the most challenging directions. How many times have the occupiers already tried to capture all of Donbas, to be in Bakhmut... How many times have they announced new deadlines for their advance, their victories... Our boys — true heroes.

And this is our key task — both for the state and the people — to do everything to support our defense forces, strengthen them, find whatever our defense forces need in the world.

I know how difficult it is in Bakhmut, on Donbas. Boys, hold on! I am with you. The nation is with you.

To carry out this task successfully — to support each other always. And I thank everyone who helps strengthen Ukraine and will be able to say after this winter that the approach of our victory is also their personal achievement, a personal accomplishment.

Glory to all who fight for Ukraine and work for Ukrainians!

Glory to our strong people!

Glory to Ukraine!"
