In the final match of the second qualifying round for Euro-2022 (WU-19) in Group A, Valeriy Palamarchuks' team played a draw against Bulgaria.

In previous group A4 matches, which were held in Austria, Ukraine lost to Norway (0:5) and the host country (0:1). Therefore, in the third match, which took place in Bad Vömlzheim-Niedharting, the Ukrainian team played against Bulgaria for a chance to remain in Group A.

At the beginning of the encounter, opponents delivered several dangerous shots that Boklach managed to handle. In contrast, on the 31st minute Glushchenko failed to capitalize on a one-on-one opportunity, and shortly after she nearly scored an own goal against her goalkeeper. Towards the end of the first half, Bulgarian Dimitrova missed from a good position.

Throughout the second half, opponents had more initiative and shot at the goal more frequently (indeed, on the 81st minute Boklach saved a one-on-one attempt by Jordanova). However, Bulgaria failed to score, so the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Overall, Ukraine secured third place in the group, thus they will play in Group A of the first round of the Euro-2022/23.
