The Ukrainian women's national team will compete in Group A6 of the A League alongside teams from Finland, Scotland, and Romania.
The A and B Leagues were formed based on the results of the second qualifying round for Euro 2026 (WU-17). The draw determined the composition of groups in the first qualification round leading up to the final tournament, which will be hosted by Finland in 2027. It is worth noting that despite already securing their place in the finals as hosts, the Finnish team will still participate in the qualifying rounds.
Results of the first round draw for Euro 2027 (WU-17)
League A
Group A1: Norway, Austria, Italy, Northern Ireland
Group A2: Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Bulgaria
Group A3: Germany, Czech Republic, Iceland, Kazakhstan
Group A4: Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium

Group A6: Finland, Scotland, Romania, Ukraine
Group A7: England, Denmark, Hungary, Belarus
League B
Group B1: Ireland, Kosovo, Albania, Azerbaijan

In the A League, 28 teams were divided through a draw into seven groups of four teams each, with matches played in mini-tournaments at one location. The seven teams finishing fourth in their respective quadrants will drop down to the B League before the second round, which will take place in spring.
In the B League, 22 teams were divided into four groups of four and two groups of three. The six group winners and the best team finishing second will be promoted to the A League for the second round.
Matches in both leagues for the first round must be completed by December 5, 2026. The hosts and dates of the mini-tournaments will be announced shortly.
In the second round of the A League, seven teams will qualify to join the hosts — Finland — in the final tournament. This tournament also serves as a qualification for UEFA's zone for the World Cup 2027 among women’s under-17 teams, which will take place in Morocco.
