UEFA Playmakers at Kyiv Lyceum No. 271

The project of the Ukrainian Football Association is being implemented by coaches Volodymyr Voloшин and Olena Yermakova.

Here is one of the feedbacks from the mothers of the youngest participants of the project — Zoryna K.'s mother: «I would like to sincerely thank the organizers and coaches of the UEFA Playmakers project for wonderful classes for children. My daughter Zoryna attends every training session with great pleasure. Thanks to interesting game exercises and fairy-tale plots, she has become more active, confident in herself, and open to communicating with peers.

It is especially valuable that a friendly atmosphere reigns at the classes where every child feels comfortable and successful. Zoryna always returns home in a good mood, shares her impressions, and eagerly awaits the next meeting».

Volodymyr Voloшин: «The UEFA Playmakers project not only introduces girls to football but also helps develop teamwork, imagination, and love for an active lifestyle. We are very happy to have the opportunity to be part of this wonderful initiative».

Goals of the UEFA Playmakers program implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

— to introduce girls to football by creating an environment where fun, friends, and football are the focus;

— to introduce a new individual coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by Disney stories and characters) as a tool for training and skill acquisition;

— to refine girls' life skills, basic movement skills, and teach them the basics of football in order to foster a lifelong love for the sport.
