Here is the transcript of a press conference with Ukraine's national team player Roman Yaremchuk ahead of a friendly match against Denmark. Video recording of the press conference available here.

— You held an open training session in your hometown. Share your emotions after such a long-awaited meeting with fans.

— First of all, I would like to say that these are very important actions. Those that take place in Ukraine, for our people. Because they sit and want to see us, some children want to get an autograph from us, talk to us. Therefore, I think it is important to do this more often. And I am glad that for the first time in 5 years this has happened. We, football players, have received satisfaction from this and hope that fans also feel the same.

— Tell us a bit about what's on your mind, as the coach put it.

— First of all, we do indeed have a lot of theoretical tasks. And I believe that football players are getting satisfaction from this because we are learning football from a new perspective. At the age of 30, I am learning football in such details that I could not imagine before. Therefore, me and all the football players around me say that we are going through an adaptation process with a new coach and it is quite interesting. But let's not make this into some big event because the coach needs time, the coach cannot build a team overnight or within two-three matches. He has tight deadlines, he wants to give us a lot of information. We work hard, we listen, we follow through and take this very seriously.

The friendly match between Denmark and Ukraine will take place on Sunday, June 7th. Kick-off at 19:30 Kyiv time.
