The Ukraine national team met with students from the Lviv Lyceum of the Heroes of Kruty

As part of the return of the National Team to Ukraine — for the first time in four years — players and the coaching staff visited the Lviv Military-Patriotic Lyceum named after the Heroes of Kрут. The meeting took place with the lyceum's football team and its students, young men who combine their studies with military-patriotic education and are preparing to serve for Ukraine.

The players of the national team interacted with the boys, answered their questions, shared their own experiences, and wished them success on both their sports and life paths. For the players of the national team, such meetings are particularly valuable as they allow them to see a new generation of Ukrainians growing up strong, motivated, and ready to take responsibility for their country's future.

About the Lyceum

The Lyceum named after the Heroes of Kрут is one of the leading specialized military education institutions in Ukraine. Over the years, nearly 6,000 students have graduated from it, most of whom chose a path of military service. Among its graduates are 8 Heroes of Ukraine and 6 full Knights of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

The football team of the lyceum is not just a sports collective. These young men demonstrate discipline, teamwork spirit, and character that already today reflect those of future officers. Among their achievements:

— one-time winners of the A. Kizil Memorial Tournament among lyceums with enhanced military-physical training (2025 and 2026)

— winners of the city stage of "Shoulder to Shoulder" among students in grades 9-11

— holders of the Lviv Polytechnic Cup
