"Open Football Festivals" in Odesa Oblast

The Odessa Regional Football Association, together with the Ukrainian Football Association, continues a series of football festivals for children from communities in the Odessa region.

"Open Football Festivals" in Odesa Oblast

This time the football festival came to Nerubayska Territorial Community — to the village of Hолодна Балка.

And even mild weather and air alarms did not hinder a true football celebration. Children played with joy, got acquainted, communicated, and received the most important thing — positive emotions, happiness, and love for football!

Moreover, participants were waiting for pleasant gifts and sports equipment.

And especially important is that all the equipment handed over to organize the festival (balls, cones, gloves, t-shirts and sweaters, jump ropes, etc.) will remain in the community and continue to be used for developing children's football.

This is not just one day of football. This is an investment in children, in community development, and in the future of Ukrainian football.

We continue to move forward and are already preparing for upcoming football festivals so that even more children have the opportunity to play football, receive bright emotions, and become part of a great football family.

The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association within the framework of the donor program "Restoration and Resilience under Youth Leadership in Ukraine" with support from the Association for Cross-Cultural Projects and organization CISU (Civil Society in Development) from Denmark.

The Ukrainian Football Association's "Open Football Festivals" project is:

— youth leadership and volunteer development in communities;

— psychosocial support for children of ZSU military personnel, IDPs, and war-affected children;

— an inclusive environment in which everyone participates regardless of abilities and gender, including children with special educational needs;

— knowledge of safety in wartime;

— the philosophy of mass football — joy from playing instead of results at any cost;

— the first football experience for children.
