The festivals are organized within the framework of a project by the Ukrainian Football Association, whose main idea is to make football accessible for every child and give them positive emotions from movement, play, and social interaction.

Students from 4th to 9th grades participated. Children of different ages, with varying levels of physical preparation and sports experience were united by one thing — the desire to play, move around, and have fun.

The main principle of the project is "Joy from playing above all."

There is no professional pressure, harsh competition, or selection based on talent here. You don't need to be a football player to be part of the game.

There are 6 fields: four for football, one for safety and another for psychology. Each has its own special mission.

"Happy Games" — maximum movement, laughter, and excitement together with the coach of the Sports School Youth Team and physical education teacher Oleksandr Zhovnyr.

"Parachute" — bright team exercises, getting to know each other, interaction, and dealing with stress together with Vitaliy Goncharenko.

"Games and Accuracy" — football skills, excitement, and joy from every accurate shot together with the coach of the Sports School Youth Team Viktor Sokur.

"Relays" — speed, agility, cleverness and main principle: "One for all and all for one!" Together with the deputy director of the Sports School Youth Team Oksana Prybylo.

"Safety" — extremely important knowledge about safe behavior in wartime conditions together with Serhiy Trokhymets.

"Psychologist" — an emotional recharge space where you can stop, rest, talk and just be yourself together with Nataliya Kosyenko.

The farewell words to the participants were given by Acting Head of Shpolianska City Council Anatoliy Storchak, Deputy Chairman of the Chernihiv Oblast Football Association Oleksandr Kochergin, Director of Signevsky Lyceum Yevheniy Besarab, and also the organizer of the event, Director of the Sports School Youth Team Oksana Khapatyko.

The Ukrainian Football Association project "Open Football Festivals" is:

— youth leadership and development of volunteering in communities; 

— psychosocial support for children of military servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, children of internally displaced persons, and children who have suffered from war; 

— an inclusive environment in which everyone participates regardless of abilities and gender, including children with special educational needs; 

— knowledge of safety in wartime conditions; 

— the philosophy of mass football — joy from playing instead of any result at all costs; 

— the first football experience for children.
