Regulations of Euro Beach Soccer League-2026 in Division A

Main phase

16 teams, divided into 4 groups (A, B, C, D) with four teams in each based on the final ranking of EBSL 2025, played a round-robin system within each group.

The two best teams from each group advanced to the semifinals stage: Italy and Denmark will play in the final of the stage, while Germany and Moldova — in the match for 3rd place.

The group matches in groups A and B taken place in Spain from May 20 to 24.

The group matches in groups C and D taken place in Chisinau, Moldova from July 29 to August 2.

Four best teams from the tournament in Spain (Spain, Portugal, Belarus, Switzerland) and four best teams from the Moldova tournament (Italy, Germany, Denmark, Moldova) have qualified for the Superfinal.

Superfinal

Two groups of four teams will be formed by drawing, seeding is based on the ranking at the end of the main phase.

The two best teams from each group advance to the semifinals (first place in Group A against second place in Group B and first place in Group B against second place in Group A).

The teams that lose will play in the match for 3rd place, and the winners will meet in the final.

Relegation

The two worst teams from the tournaments in Spain (Turkey, Czech Republic) and Moldova (Estonia, Belgium) will play a round-robin system in Viareggio in September. The two worst teams based on these matches results will be relegated to Division B.
