Regulations of Euro Beach Soccer League-2026 in Division A

Main Phase

16 teams, divided into 4 groups (ABCD) with four teams in each based on the final ranking of EBSL 2025, played round-robin within their groups.

The top two teams from each group advanced to the semifinals of the stage: winners will play in the final, and those who lost — in a match for third place.

The group stage matches in groups A and B took place in Spain from May 20 to 24.

The group stage matches in groups C and D taken place in Chisinau, Moldova from July 29 to August 2.

The top four teams from the tournament in Spain (Spain, Portugal, Belarus, Switzerland) and the top four teams from the tournament in Moldova (Italy, Germany, Denmark, Moldova) qualified for the Superfinal.

Superfinal

Two groups of four teams will be formed by a draw, seeding is based on the ranking at the end of the main phase.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals (first place in Group A against second place in Group B and first place in Group B against second place in Group A).

The teams that lose will play for third place, the winners will meet in the final.

Relegation

The two worst teams from the tournaments in Spain (Turkey, Czech Republic) and Moldova (Estonia, Belgium) will play a round-robin system in Viareggio in September. The bottom two teams based on these results will be relegated to Division B.
