The Ukrainian Football Association continues its systematic search for promising players in academies and clubs around the world. Due to Russian aggression and other historical circumstances, millions of Ukrainians do not live at home but this does not prevent them from feeling Ukrainian and wearing blue-yellow uniforms. Our searches for ethnic Ukrainians and those who left due to the war have already yielded results!

Players who were born or formed outside of Ukraine have become a strong foundation for the success of the U-19 national team at Euro 2026. Vitaliy Glut, Patrick Sikut, Konstantinos Plysh, and Sergiy Ignaikov became part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the youth Euro and secured a place in the World Cup U-20!

Who are we looking for?

Players with Ukrainian roots who train in professional or semi-professional club academies and regularly play in official matches, standing out among their peers.

The UAF does not charge any fees for reviewing applications or calling up to the national team. Any offers of "support for money" are fraudulent and have no relation to the association.

Talent that no one knows about will not make it to the national team. We find strong football players through various methods and this form is one of them. Perhaps your application could be the start of a new player's journey to the national team.
