The cycle of classes for the "Inclusive Football Sections" project under the name "Sports Shelter," organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football and the Odessa Regional Football Association, has been completed. Children with special educational needs have had the opportunity to engage in football while taking into account each child's physical and emotional characteristics.

The project trainer, Vasyl Fedoryaka, shares: "The project was initiated as a response to the need for creating a safe and accessible space for children who find it difficult or impossible to join regular sports sections. Through 'Sports Shelter,' dozens of children have improved not only their football skills, coordination, agility, but also communication skills, self-esteem, and confidence in their abilities thanks to regular classes. This proves that inclusion in sports is not a dream but a reality."

Thanks to our collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Football, we have received a new boost for growth, expansion in geography, and improvement in training quality. It is very pleasant that we have grown into a permanent support center for the development of children with special needs. This is no longer just football training—it's a community where each child feels strong, valuable, and needed."

"For us, this is not just training but real joy. A place and time where in the company of friends you can relax happily and actively both mentally and physically, knowing the story of each family, watching with satisfaction the successes of all children, and genuinely cheering for players from both teams. Children become more agile, resilient, confident, and they also learn team communication, support, and understanding of one another's special needs. 'Sports Shelter' provides a sense of stability and security, giving children the opportunity to experience childhood," Xenia Z., mother of eight-year-old Ivan, shares her impressions.
