In Odessa, at the "Chornomorets" stadium, a bright football match took place between the ambitious FSK "Palmyra" team — one of the strongest collectives in Odesa Oblast on an amateur level — and the Ukraine veterans' team.

The match was intense and tense. Already at the start, the hosts opened the score — Ruslan Khvan scored. In the second half, parity was restored by Yuriy Maximov. The main time ended with a 1-1 draw, so the outcome of the match was decided in a penalty shootout. Here, the legends of the game were more accurate — they won 3-2!

The match took place in a warm, moving atmosphere. It was dedicated to the memory of Mykola Anatoliyovych Khvan — father of Ruslan, who recently passed away. Also, there was a moment of silence for Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives for our freedom.
